Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists evaluate each patient to identify opportunities to improve comfort, maintain function, and support safety — helping patients stay as active and independent as possible.
Therapy evaluations focus on what matters most to the patient and family. Rather than curative rehabilitation, our goal is to preserve the patient's abilities, prevent discomfort from immobility, support safe swallowing, and recommend adaptive equipment that helps patients engage in daily life.
All services are provided at no cost under the Medicare and Medi-Cal hospice benefit. Serene Hospice never denies care based on ability to pay.
Evaluation of mobility, strength, and positioning to minimize pain and prevent complications like pressure injuries.
Assessment of daily activities and recommendations for adaptive tools to support independence.

Our team is here to answer your questions and help determine if hospice is right for your loved one.
