Our registered and licensed nurses provide skilled, compassionate clinical care wherever the patient lives — managing complex symptoms, performing treatments, and keeping families informed every step of the way.
Skilled nurses visit regularly and are available around the clock by phone. They perform clinical assessments, administer medications, coordinate with physicians, provide wound care and treatments, and educate family caregivers on safely supporting their loved one.
All services are provided at no cost under the Medicare and Medi-Cal hospice benefit. Serene Hospice never denies care based on ability to pay.
Nurses come directly to the patient — home, assisted living, SNF, or board and care.
Ongoing evaluation of pain, comfort, and functional status to guide care decisions.
Skilled procedures including IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration.
A nurse is always available by phone and ready to respond to urgent needs at any hour.
